The past:

The ViruStage project was born in 2000 in the hearth of Italy, between Tuscany and Umbria, the main idea is one to unite in a single, cohesive group some professionals from the world of italian clubs (dj's, art directors, pr's, lj's) joined from a common aim: top art from the triunvirate sea that was typical of the italian dance system, the same system that still today rewards now obsolete market strategies to the detriment of the music quality and of the product offered to the clubbers.
At the same time in the rest of europe the electronic music is having a real boom but italy stays only to see this phenomenon without even tring get into it, and without givening attantion at all to this movement.
It's in this atmosphere of total repession from all the media and from all the people how seating in front of a desk deciding the present and the future of the italian music scene how ViruStage grow up and envolved, proposing new musical cultures and currents through their events, gigs inthe clubs, productions and friends radios.
From 2000 to 2004 ViruStage is present with their artists in some of the biggest and most important italian electronic events and clubs, plus has been promoter of some of the most important events and open air festival in the centre of Italy.
From 2004 till now ViruStage got bigger arriving to contaminate even the london music scene, working more or less in all the big city but mostly operantig and focussing their job in the busy east london underground scene, as dj's in good and important clubs, parties & afterparties and as a promoter of itinerant events as well.
Virustage changed and evolved a lot from the year 2000 the internal order and the staff organization but all the evolutions and changes has been made, will never modify the objective of the beginning of ViruStage existence, under the leadership of the founders: Francesco Poggi & Fabiano Binaglia.
