About Virustage:

Francesco Poggi and Fabiano Binaglia first met in 2000, in the heart of Italy. Right from the start, they felt a kinship towards each other, through a mutual perspective on music. Sharing the same taste, same concept, same vision of it. In other words, it was love at first sight.
They started working together, securing regular residency in some of the best clubs in the country, and organising parties and outdoor events in the centre of Italy.

In 2001 (when the production project was established), they decided that Virustage had to operate not just through parties and the music played, but by being focussed on their own music production as well.

The Virustage objective is proclaimed through their name:

To contaminate the music scene with their sound from stage to stage, vinyl to vinyl, note to note, radio to radio, like a virus moves from subject to subject.
They aim to create and offer good music without getting stuck in any specific genre. The sound of Virustage is inspired by Techno, House, Progressive, Minimal, Trance, Dub, and Electronic, but they prefer to define it simply as Underground music. For Virustage music means emotions, and the objective they have always tried to achieve, is to express and communicate emotion through their work.

2002 - The first release – Blue tech Ep – Overtone rec. Italy.
2003 - Was the year of Nature Parade (an unconventional summer Dance music festival), the biggest outdoor event organised by Virustage, and in addition, it was the year of the creation of the Virustage Studio Project. Fabiano and Francesco started to build their own studio.

2004 - Virustage decided to expand and spread the virus moving away from Italy and operating in London, in the U.K. underground circuit, the music scene that had always fascinated them since the beginning of their career.

In September 2004, Francesco flew to London to start this new experience and this exciting challenge. The music scene was perfect for him to let the virus operate. He started to organise parties and after-parties in the East of the city, and played in some of the best clubs and for some famous events all over the capital. In the meantime, Fabiano, still in Italy, was taking care of the studio and following the production, joining Francesco as a regular DJ in the underground music scene of London.
2005 - Virustage organised their own truck for the biggest outdoor festival ever made in Italy: The Street Parade Bologna version 9.00.
2006 - Virustage joined the London Insomnia crew and they started a magic collaboration, which brought them to the next step.

2007 - Was the year of the first commissioned rmx and the exploration/research of other music styles, trying to capture and understand the music deeper.
